COPE House

COPE House

COPE House was the home of our founder Barb O'Donohue. Over the years, Barb took in many orphaned children. We have kept her house as a rescue house to Pokot children who have no safe gaurdians to care for them. Some are orphaned by malaria, aids, or starvation. Many children have been abandoned as their parents have several children and no income to support them. Alcoholism and gambling has a tight grasp on the community and has taken a bad situation and made it much worse. We do all we can to give children a fresh start and a loving home. We pray to empower the COPE House children to break the cycles that have taken hold of their community and lead spiritually, emotionally, and physically healthy and responsible lives.

Devotions

Our COPE House has morning and nightly devotion time where we sing worship songs, pray, and share scripture and testimonies. We feel that opening and closing our day with Jesus  helps to keep us focused on what is most important.
